I've spent seventeen years coaching people to move better, feel stronger, and build habits that actually hold up outside the gym. In 2020 I founded State of Fitness — an appointment-only personal training studio in South Yarra built deliberately against everything that makes gyms feel unwelcoming. I also write and create content about movement, coaching, and building things that last. This site is where that thinking lives.

Generic doesn’t work. Every person I coach has a program built specifically for their body, their history, and their goals. Not a template. Theirs.

Consistency beats intensity

The best training program is the one you actually stick to. I’ve spent seventeen years helping people build routines they look forward to — not ones they dread.

Systems set people free

Good operations aren’t about efficiency for its own sake. They exist so coaches can be fully present with the person in front of them. That’s the whole point.
